Custom Booking and Ordering Systems

Every “do you have a slot on Tuesday?” phone call costs time for both you and your customer. A booking system removes that loop: the customer picks a slot themselves — in the evening, on the weekend, whenever — and you work instead of answering the phone. The question isn't whether to take bookings online, but whether to use an off-the-shelf service or a custom system.

Who booking systems are for

Off-the-shelf or custom?

Ready-made services (Reservio, SimplyBook, Calendly) are a great start: you pay hundreds of CZK a month and you're done in an afternoon. I recommend them to anyone whose scenario is the standard “pick a service, pick a time”. Custom pays off once you have specific logic — pricing by job scope, multiple locations and resources, deposits and cancellation policies, integration with your systems or accounting — or when you don't want your customers and data living in someone else's branded service.

Features that prove their worth

What a custom booking system costs

ScopeTypical price
Simple slot booking on your own websiteCZK 80,000–180,000
System with payments, reminders and capacity managementCZK 180,000–400,000
Ordering portal with a client zone and integrationsCZK 400,000+

Estimate the payback with common sense: how many hours a month you spend arranging appointments by phone, and what every no-show or missed call costs you. For busy operations, the system typically pays for itself within a year.

How to proceed

Describe your ordering process to me — how customers reach you today and what slows you down the most. Within a few days you'll get a solution proposal with a fixed price: either a recommendation of a ready-made service (if that's enough for you, I'll say so plainly), or the scope of a first custom version.
